My name is Candice Detillier, and I am a 27 year old writer, avid reader, and volunteer. By day, I am a technical IT recruiter, finding people for jobs, not jobs for people. By night, I am The Cheshire Scribe I am a HUGE Disney fan, thus the Alice in Wonderland theme, and my favorite Disney movie is Sleeping Beauty.

I live in the New Orleans, LA area with my supportive, loving, AWESOME husband Bradley and our 5 pets – 3 cats and 2 dogs. My cats are Fiona (Fifi), Aurora (Rory), and Ellie, and my dogs are Indiana Jones (Indy), an Australian Shepherd, and Tigger, a Yorkie/Pomeranian mix. Believe it or not, they all get along and never fight!

I have been writing and telling stories since I was a small child, and it’s the love of my life. I have a degree in English/Communications from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA, and I went to high school at St. Mary’s Dominican High School in New Orleans. Yes, I list my high school here, because in New Orleans, it’s all about where you went to high school
